MISSION STATEMENT
Women's Haven exists to eliminate domestic violence in Tarrant County by sheltering
victims, by assisting victims to overcome and escape abusive relationships, and by
preventing abuse from occuring through intervention and education.
Twenty-four hour hotline, emergency shelter, information & referral,
health services, case management, individual & group counseling, Men's Program (Men's
Education for Nonviolence), follow-up & transitional housing, legal services,
parenting education and community education. The Children's Program consists of
developmental needs assessment, crisis intervention counseling, support group counseling,
recreational & social activities, an on-site school, preschool, and infant care.

On going needs include craft supplies for the Children's Program, food,
paper products, linens, cleaning supplies, over-the-counter medications and medical
supplies, personal care items and Poloroid 600 Plus film (for documenting injuries.)
Clothing, housewares, jewelry, books, furniture, etc. are needed for the resale shop,
Berry Good Buys, at 1701 W. Berry. Clients and their children are able to obtain clothing
and household items as needed; the remainder is sold with 100% of the profit funding
Women's Haven programs.

LEGENDS SPORTS PROMOTIONS PRESENTS THE FIRST ANNUAL COWBOYS SAVING
FAMILIES CELEBRITY BASKETBALL CLASSIC JANUARY 18, 1997 TEXAS HALL, UTA
The Cowboys Saving Families is seeking sponsors for its upcoming Basketball Classic. Many
former Dallas Cowboy Legends such as Cliff Harris, John Dutton, Drew Pearson, Tony Hill,
Billy Joe Dupree, Jethro Pugh, Robert Newhouse, Mel Renfro, & Ed "Too Tall"
Jones will join together in a game of basketball to raise money for Women's Haven.
Sponsorships are available from $100 to $5,000. Sponsorships, depending on the level, will
include such items as ads in the official program, raffle tickets for an autographed Roger
Staubach jersey & more, seats for the game, a chance to be a head coach of the Cowboys
or play on the Cowboys team, autographed footballs, and tickets for the private dinner
following the game.
